These terms apply when you use the DocKit Care app or patient portal to find clinics, book appointments and manage your health information. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. What DocKit Care is
DocKit Care is a platform that connects you with independent doctors and clinics. It lets you find them, book and manage appointments, join online consultations, and keep your health information in one place.
DocKit Care does not provide medical advice or treatment. Diagnosis, prescriptions and care come from the doctors and clinics themselves, who are responsible for them. Information in the app, including AI-assisted features used by clinics, does not replace a doctor's professional judgement.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian manage the account.
- Give accurate information, especially your health details — doctors rely on them.
- Keep your password and phone secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If you book for someone else, you confirm you have their permission to share their details.
3. Appointments and payments
- Available times, fees and policies are set by each clinic.
- Online bookings are paid at the clinic unless the app says otherwise. A queue token may be given once your visit is paid or confirmed by the clinic.
- Please cancel or reschedule in the app if you cannot attend. Clinics may have their own rules about late cancellations and missed visits.
- A clinic may need to change or cancel an appointment; you will be told in the app.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Book appointments you do not intend to keep, or book in someone else's name without permission.
- Upload content that is unlawful, misleading, or not yours to share.
- Post reviews that are false, abusive, or about a visit that did not happen.
- Try to access other people's data, interfere with the service, or misuse it in any way.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of documents you upload and reviews you write. You allow us to store and show them as needed to run the service — for example, to share documents with the clinics or people you choose, and to show your review on the doctor's profile.
6. Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep DocKit Care available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, DocKit Care is not liable for the medical care provided by doctors or clinics, or for losses caused by service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account (details). We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you when we do.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; if the changes are important we will tell you in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
