You can delete your DocKit Care account at any time, whether you use the app as a patient or as a doctor. Here is how, and exactly what happens to your information.
Patients — delete it in the app
- Open the DocKit Care app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under Privacy & account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm with your password (or type DELETE if you sign in with Google, Apple or a one-time code), then tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.
Patients — what is deleted
- Your login and profile — name, mobile number, email, date of birth and photo.
- Your health profile (blood group, allergies, conditions, medicines, emergency contact), and any Aadhaar or ABHA number stored on your account.
- Documents you uploaded yourself, your reminders and your reviews.
- Your upcoming appointments, which are cancelled (unpaid bills for them are voided).
- Share links you created and record access you approved for other clinics.
- Push-notification registrations for your devices.
Visit records, prescriptions, bills and reports that a clinic created are that clinic's medical records and stay with the clinic — see our patient Privacy Policy for details.
Doctors — delete it in the app
- Open the DocKit Care app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under Privacy & account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm with your password, then tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.
Doctors — what is deleted
- Your login and professional profile — name, phone, photo, government ID and signature images, date of birth and address.
- Your personal reminders and push-notification registrations.
- Your upcoming appointments across every chamber you practise at, which are cancelled.
Appointments, prescriptions, bills and other records you created for patients belong to the chamber that hosted them and are required by law to be retained — they stay with the chamber after you delete your DocKit Care account. See our doctor Privacy Policy for details.
Can't use the app?
Email privacy@dockit.care from the email on your account, or include the mobile number/email you signed up with. We will verify it is you and delete the account within 30 days.
Copies of deleted information in our routine backups are removed as those backups expire.
