These terms apply when you use the DocKit Care app as a doctor to manage your chambers, schedule and consultations. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. What DocKit Care is
DocKit Care is a platform that lets you manage your medical practice — your schedule, patient appointments, prescriptions and, where you practise at more than one hospital or clinic ("chamber"), switch between them from one account.
You remain responsible for the medical care, diagnosis and prescriptions you provide. DocKit Care provides the software; it does not practise medicine and is not a party to the doctor-patient relationship.
2. Your account
- You must hold a valid medical registration to register as a doctor.
- Give accurate professional information — patients and chambers rely on it.
- Keep your password and phone secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Each chamber you join grants you access to that chamber's patients for the purpose of treating them there; you may not use that access for any other purpose.
3. Schedule and appointments
- You set your own weekly hours and date-specific overrides for each chamber you practise at.
- Your hours at one chamber must not overlap your hours at another — the app enforces this so you cannot be double-booked.
- Cancelling or rescheduling a patient's appointment should be done with reasonable notice where possible.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Access or use patient data outside the chamber it belongs to, or for a purpose other than their care.
- Share your login credentials with anyone else.
- Upload content that is unlawful, misleading, or not yours to share.
- Try to access other doctors' or chambers' data, interfere with the service, or misuse it in any way.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Records and content
Consultation notes, prescriptions and other records you create for a patient belong to the chamber you created them under, as that chamber's medical records — not to you personally and not to DocKit Care. You allow us to store and process them as needed to run the service on that chamber's behalf.
6. Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep DocKit Care available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, DocKit Care is not liable for the medical care you provide, or for losses caused by service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account (details). Deleting your account does not remove records you created for patients at any chamber — those stay with the chamber as required by law. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you when we do.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; if the changes are important we will tell you in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
